A Wedding and a Baby

I have been gone for many months now, and it was rather unexpected!

My husband and I were married on April 27th at the beautiful Cordi Winery in Live Oak, CA. It was everything we dreamed it would be, and were surrounded by our closest family and friends. My friend Kendall from Sir Berry Photography was able to take our photos on our big day!

After we got back from our Hawaiian honeymoon we found out we were expecting! Almost immediately I got extremely sick to the point of being bed bound. I have hyperemesis gravidarum, and quickly lost about 12% of my body mass. I am a smaller person frame-wise so this was a big deal. Multiple trips to the ER, round-the-clock anti-nausea meds and 17 weeks later (around 23 weeks) I started to slightly feel better. I began to put on weight and was able to taper off of the constant medication. At 25 weeks I was no longer bed bound!

We are now 29 weeks along and expecting a little boy. Aurora, Johnny and I are over the moon and incredibly excited to expand our little family. We appreciate all of the prayers and well wishes, and I look forward to getting back into the photography swing!
